Q: Indiabulls Home Loan EMI deferment
Hi I own a travel business and my wife is a pilot. Due to Covid my business has generated no revenue and my wife has a 70% paycut. We have a home loan running with Indiabulls. The amount is huge and we have tried to get help from Indiabulls to give a respite for a year for the EMI but they have refused. Now I also tried to sell the property but I'm not getting the rate to even pay off the loan let alone recover the 25% I paid upfront. The bank has been sending recovery agents to my place. What can I do?
Advocate Shashi Kant Sharma answered
You can file case against bank with a relief to take less EMI due to pandemic situation and we can send a legal notice to bank. If you will not take any action against bank then bank will file a case against you under the surfessi act. and your property would be auction.
