Q: i have been publically humiliated and harassed by my collage HOD.

can i file a case aganst a collage teacher for public humiliation and harrasment? and what will be the consequences? what should i do please help.

Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, is defined under Section 74(1). Or,Complaints can be lodged to NCTE by addressing the letter directly to the Nodal Officer (Complaints), NCTE and giving the specific facts of the matter. The complaints can also be lodged directly by email

Q: Regarding RTI response to be provided to public

I am a government employee and we reimburse medical claims to insure persons.One person has filed an RTI against our office seeking copy of his medical claims also asking name , service record of temporary and permanent employees posted in our office and claims reimbursed to general public in one year with names of other people...Please suggest which information can be given as per RTI act .

You can seek information under RTI Act- 2005 from any Public Authority (government organization or government aided organization). Application can be handwritten or typed. Application should be submit in English, Hindi or in the official language of the area in which the application is made.In this regard it is mentioned that if you do not receive any reply against your RTI application from the concerned department within the time limit given under the RTI Act, 2005 or you are not satisfied with the reply, you can file the first appeal in the same public authority in which you have filed your RTI application.
