Can a quashed case affect my govt job selection

19-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)

A case was filed against me in 2011 under section 323 by our college because i was involved in a fight. But in 2013 the college withdraw the complaint and i was acquitted of all the charges by comprise from both the sides. The order was passed by lok adalat. Now is it going to affect my govt job selection in any circumstances? will it be a problem in police verification?

Not at all. As you stated case has been already quashed. Even only pendency of criminal case never debarred to someone to get government job. However in case a convicted may be debarred to get government jobs.

No it would not effect your selection as the case is quashed and you are no longer accused and guilt is not proved against you.

No it will not affect , in case at any place it is asked to fill the details of the vas do not hide. And keep the copy of judgement settlement with you. Do not hide Info As that would be more harmful.
