What is procedure to change religion from Rajput to Jain

My friend want to change his religion Currently he is Rajput But now he want to convert in JAIN religion So plz tell me the process of conversion
There is no procedure provided in Indian Law for conversion to other religions.
Anyone willing to convert to other religion should follow process that is provided in the religion in to which the person wishes to convert.
Means, procedure for adopting new religion only has to be followed. Your friend should just follow the procedure provided in Jainism. Law has nothing to do with it.
BUT, no one should leave his/her religion of birth, whatever may be the condition of his/her religion of birth. No religion in this world is bad as it should be left and abandoned by it's followers.
Liking or loving other religions does not mean they are better than your own religion. Everyone should love and respect other other religions too, but most loved and respected religion for anyone should be the religion of birth.
