Convert from hindu to buddhism

Dear team, I am a 25 year old unmarried Hindu girl. I want to convert from Hindu to Buddhism. as their is no such specific reason for it. its just a personal thing that i want to do in my life. I don't have any plan to get caste related benefits from government like for job or education. but i just want to do it. I want it legally done. is their any specific procedure and if yes what will be the cost for it?
Dear mam need to check with government offices as the issue involved is of conversion from one religion to another.
According to me what I learned in vipassana and as per my interpretation that Buddhism is not a religion we need to follow the principles i.e. panchashil.
