What proofs are required toprove that they have cheated on me as they told before marriage that he is an engineer and also he did not drinks,and he acted very polite before marriage and during the year after marriage he tortured me physically and mentally right now I am at my parents home and he came there to threaten my younger brother(23) so what proofs are required to take strict action against him and his family as they lied us about him.and for threatening.
You can file criminal case under section 498a,406,420 I.p.c. against husband and his family members .your younger brother also file against husband criminal case.you are also family court in divorce case.domestic violence act 2005 file case husband and his family members.

It is a cruelty and where a woman is subjected to cruelty by her husband or his relatives, it is an offence under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, So can make the report to Your nearest Police station under this section. And you can also file an application under The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 before the competent court of Magistrate.
