You being a lady, all enactments are in your favour. You need not worry. Instead start filing complaint against them before they file complaint or any other case against him. More suggestions in person on hearing you....

You don`t have to write and sign anything that they say, You can contact any of your relatives, parents or friends or any women`s organisation to approach the nearest police station to lodge complaint narrating exactly what they have done to you.

Any kind of abusive behavior by your husband or male partner or their relatives (includes male and female relatives). It need not be physical abuse. It could also be verbal, emotional, sexual or economic abuse. As a victim, you can approach either the ‘Protection Officer’ or the ‘Service Provider’ under this law. You can also approach the police or a Magistrate directly.
