If the property is given by the grand father then father don't have any right to refuse to give his share. If he does so, its illegal and don't have any value. If the property is purchased by his father only then the father has every right to do with the property.

Well if its ancestral property son has right in it. In case of self acquired property discretion is father's.
Father can of course give property even to disowned son. It can be contested by other heirs

Dear Sir
A person may give/WILL his share to anyone. The son may also ask for his share after being disowned. The father will have to either gift that share, or make a WILL with respect to his share. However, if a father has disowned his son, and the father dies intestate that is without a WILL, then the said disowned son cannot claim his share in the father's property since he is no more his legal heir. The scenario changes when the disowned son has actually been WILLED of GIFTED the property. Regards
