Can i use Abbreviation with my name legally

I just wanted to know can i abbreviate the "S" in my name from now on and use from now on. But every where till now i have never used it unless in social platforms.
You mean to say that you are planning to use 'S' as your initial. You can do that by effecting change of name in accordance with law. I hope you are aware of change of name procedure and there after it will be your legal name.

No you cannot abbrievate ur initial since if it is not mentioned in record u cannot further u have to file declaration suit in civil court by issuing notice to concerned authorities and get a decree on it and u can change it.
