Want to increase the maintenance already prayed before court
25-May-2023 (In Divorce Law)
A complaint had prayed for maintenance of Rs. 25000 but court only granted Rs. 1500 as interim maintenance since husband lied about his income and stated the same to be Rs. 4000, now wife has proved his income in lacs of rupees per month and she want to pray for Rs. 1 lac per month. Case is still going on. Kindly Advise if she needs to amend her plaint and replace Rs. 25000 with Rs. 1 lac,
Wife can ammened her plaint at any stage of trial aur the better option is to file an application under criminal procedure code to inhancement of interim maintainance amount before the same court. As the amount was already awarded same can b incteased kn application

You have not mentioned that maintnance has been provided under which provision i.e 125 cr.p.c or in domestic violence under section 19 or under section 24 H.M.A .
There are provision under all laws to increase or decrease the maitenance as per circumstances.
