How to withdraw a maintenance case

15-Dec-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have being married for 4 and half years and in February 2015 had a argument with my husband saying i should not visit my parents residing in the same city. on which i left my inlaws home and came to my parents home. within 3-4 days i received a legal notice from my husband with false accusations.when i replied to his letter through my lawyer he sent me divorce via speed post. dint even try to talk to me once in between. i am a graduate and belong to lower middle class. my father is retired and it will very difficult for him to take care of the family expenses. In novemeber 2015 i filed a maintence case against my husband.it has being almost a year and my the court proceedings are very slow i have not even being cross questioned. instead of getting any maintence from husband my father is paying expenses. it is very unpleasant to see my ex husband every few days and my health is also suffering because of this. I would like to withdraw the case i filed against my husband

Hi
Not sure on why the courts have awarded interim maintenance unless your lawyer is slow.
courts normally grant interim maintenance in the second or third hearing itself.
If your lawyer is not asking for interim maintenance, then you can ask the court directly.
It is your husband who filed the divorce case against you and not you. So even if you withdraw the divorce case, not sure whether your husband will withdraw his divorce petition.
