yes you can join your post where your are selected as these days 90% of domestic violence and 498 A cases are frivolous. only keep one thing in mind that order of dismissal can be passed when conviction order is passed against you in criminal case. As per rule 19 of the CCA Rules. It has been held by this Hon’ble Court in the case of Chunni Lal vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. 2006 (1) WLC (Raj.)509 that on conviction, one can be dismissed from service without observing provisions of Rule 16,17 and 18 of the CA Rules. On Conviction, no opportunity of hearing is required before passing order of dismissal

You can join the job. There is no effect on your job until unless the offence is not to be prove. These family matters totally based on facts and issues. Kindly provide the full information then I'll able to suggest you better. Like Is challan produce in Court. And FIR, and statement of parties.

My dear friend, it is right that no any person can be given job who has criminal background but it does not apply in each and every case because it depends on facts and circumstances. First thing Is challan has been submitted against you or not ? there is service rules regarding Moral turpitude matters, if there is column regarding any criminal case pending then you have to writ down the existing status your pending criminal matters. So don't worry and always keep it that law does not deprive every person who has name in criminal case.
