Neighbour not repairing damage cause de to his sewage what can be done

The wall separating my house and my neighbour's is lately having the problem of severe dampness.This is due to his sewage chamber and sewage pipe on his side of the wall. My house has been just painted few months back and it's being damaged day by day by the dampness. I have asked him to repair the sewage pipe so many times from last 2-3 months and he is not taking any actions and pretexting regarding this issue. I wanted to ask if there is any legal procedure that I can opt for this issue. You'll be helpful. Thanks
First, issue legal notice to your neighbour that on account of his seewage pipe/chamber leakage, your new paint is damaged and loss you have suffered. Also, complain against your neighbour in Municipal Corporation.

yes, you can file a case in this regard and court shall provide you relief after observing the facts and getting things examines and after giving another party chance to place his part .Though there is both civil and criminal wrong in this matter as something causing danger to life or health may fall in both civil and criminal wrong.
