Neighbor is occupying a portion of our land what action can we take

07-Sep-2023 (In Civil Law)
A portion of our farm land (about 30% of 2.5Acre) is being used by the neighboring land owner for farming. He claims that it belongs to him. Doesn't allow us to do survey and put a fence. We bought this with clear papers and patta. Last 3 to 4 years he has been doing this and he is not allowing us to do survey and mark boundaries. Since we are from outstation, we couldn't visit regularly. We want to take all steps so that he doesn't stop us doing survey and further claim our part of land which he is using. Please provide your expert advice.

Dear Sir,

If you have clear papers, you have right to enjoy your property and you can legally claim your belongs. If any further assistance for survey, fence and mark boundaries you have rights.

You can approach concern Thasildar office Surveyor and pay the statutory fees for Marking and fixing your proper boundaries. You can give the compliant to the Local Police Station for taking neceesary action against the Land Grapper through Police Station/Court for claiming your property.
