Is mercy killing legal in india

Hi, When I get old, god forbid say I am too sick/bedridden and need complete assistance or aid from others to continue with my life or am completely dependent on someone and couldn't do my chores, I don't want to live such a life. So, I need to register a legal document saying in such cases I may be subjected to mercy killing under my consent using a painless methodology. Please give information on this. Thanks
Mercy killing does not apply to your situation. Mercy killing is not lawful in India. You need permission from the court and is not easily given. The state would come to your rescue if you have any such problems.
