After getting the cheque bounce, send him legal demand notice within 30days from the date of bouncing. After receiving of notice he is supposed to pay u back within 15 days. If he doesn't pay u back within 15 days than file a case within 30 days.

Hi,
It is a clear infringement of 138 N.I.Act, we need to File a case under N.i Act and for that the first step is to give a legal notice.
For more information feel free to have a word with me.
All the best

After cheque bounce (whatever reason) you have to send a legal notice, you have to mention the reason of cheque bounce, and demand that clear the outstanding within 15 days. If he do not clear the your outstanding then you have to file a complaint case under section 138 of N.I. act. Note-: Cheque bounce is Criminal Offence.
