do we need to pay stamp duty for legal heir certificate in maharshtra? This is a case where i am a single heir to my husbands property. My mother-in-law is no more. if we need to pay stamp duty what is the ceiling amount 75000 or 300000

madam if you required succession certificate from the Court then it is necessary to value the property which is you are claiming . yes 75 thousand is the ceiling limit value of stamps . you can contact with me details along with all formalities in personally then you have to submit the case incompetent Court thanks do it immediately because It's About Time limit thanks

the maximum amount of stamp duty for succession and heirship certificate is seventyfive thousand in case the value of claim is more than ten lacs. if the amount of claim is less than then amount need to be calculated. If you just need to get heirship certificate without showing any claim amount than succession or heirship certificate is on 200/- stamp
