What are my options in case the builder delays the possession
This is my response to you:
1. Send him a mail asking for the change in date;
2. You can otherwise send a legal notice;
3. If he does not respond then you must file a RERA complaint;
4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.

You can initiate action under the Real Estate(Regulation and Development) Act. 2016. Wherein specific provisions apply to such incidents and penalise and punish the Builder for delays and latches. The proceedings have to be initiated depending upon the location, amount and details of agreement executed between the parties.
