Approved building plan,

08-Dec-2023 (In RERA Law)
Builder has built an Sewage treatment plant (STP) right outside my flat . It’s emitting a continuous humming noise , causing a lot of discomfort for me. Are there any rules about the minimum distance this STP can be construed from the flat? How do I get the building plan to see if STP is in the approved plan or not? After a lot of complaints to builder, he is not doing anything about it. How do I proceed on this ? Please suggest .

This is my response to you:
1. If this causing you nuisance then approach the police;
2. If it affects your health then you must surely take steps;
3. You can also approach the civil court and obtain a stay order on the functioning of this plant;
4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.

write to the managing committee that this STP is causing you health issues.
let the managing committee take a call how they can treat this issue from their end.
managing committee needs to address this issue, builder cannot do anything now he will side with the defence this is where the bmc has approved it in my plan.
