What is the procedure to distribute property

13-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
Dear Sir/Madam,  I am permanent residence is in a village at Madhupur (~7 kms away from Madhupur station). One of my great grandfathers used to possess some land, but after their demise, their sons divided the land among themselves without any pen and paper work. Their sons also got hold on the lands as an ancestral property, but no legal authorization has been done down the family tree till now. Everything is by mutual discussion and trust. But I want to legalize my part (rather my father's, who is alive still) at least with proper documentation. As of now we don't have any paperwork done- can I really do so?

dear client .....
yes you can do so ...
you need to make a partition deed and get it registered ....
and get signed by all the members rather legal heirs its shall be sufficient to get the work done ...
once partition deed is ready get your name changed in Mutation receipt ...thats all you need to do .

See as you narrated that the property is ancestral property of your grandfather and it has been amicably partitioned but no legal documents has been made see you have two option 1.you can get the family arrangements done according to the amicable share allowed to each brother and get the signature of each brother's in the famaily arrangement document 2. and or you will have to file partition suit before the court of competent jurisdiction

Venerated Sir,
As per your grievances, I would like to inform that according to law you have right to claim your property in your ancestral property. First You should have to make family trees then after on the pad of Mukhiya, make a agreement in which details of property will be mentioned and take signature from all legal heirs over that agreement. Further, you should file that agreement before circle office I.e. Block for mutilation of your right. Feel free to call me.
