Dear Sir/Madam We have recently sold our house where we were living from last 32 years. The TS1 was first registered in 1994 on my father’s name. So we had it registered from 26 years. We sold the property to someone on the basis of TS1 and property is now registered to the new owner under municipal. Now my uncle who lives next door. He had an old allotment document on the name of my grandfather from 1962 of land of both houses Of my fathers and mu uncles Now My uncle has filed a case to partition the two houses into three as he wants to give one part to my Aunt ( my father’s and uncle’s sister) on the basis of inheritance. Will we loose some part of our house ?

How do I change my name on my property tax in TS?

You will be required to pay a mutation fee (0.1% Market Value) via DD in favor of the GHMC commissioner. The Tax Inspector concerned will then visit your property before changing the name. He will check if the current property tax rate is in line with the benchmark rate. 13 Dec 2021

The MC issues the TS-1 certificate to property owners who do not owe any outstanding debts on the property. Residents also get TS-1 certificates to keep their records.
