Property of nana devolved upon your mother and became her stridhan. She has exclusive right to deal with it the way she wants. However, if she does not gift it or does not make its will nor alienates it, then after her death, all her legal heirs are entitled to inherit the property jointly. So ur father and you both have equal share. Your step-brother can claim in your father's share of the property if there is no will / gift, etc. of the share.

Venerated questioner,
I would like to inform you that second wife's son have no right in maternal grandfather properties. You are only one share holder who claim in that property on the basis of legal heir of your mother. Mother is the aboriginal owner of her family properly and after her death you are the legal holder who can claim property.. If you mother left any will then it will make perfect title to you. Feel free to call me for more legal assistance.
