The competent authority to issue the occupancy certificate is the same that approved your building plan. You may apply to them with all the necessary documents such as the original approved building plan, property and water tax receipts.

Occupancy certificate is issued by the local authorities stating that the building is completed as per the approved plan . Normally it has to be obtained once the completion is over and it is different from the completion certificate .
