Is Registration Of Property Without OC & CC Valid?

Hi Sir/Madam:. May I please know if registration of flat without occupancy or completion certificates or any other certificates that builder needs to get be valid. Builder is saying that he has applied for certificates and will get it soon. How can the consumer know if the builder has all necessary certificates & approvals as he can lie to consumer very easily.

According to law builder can give possession and do regestry only after obtaining occupancy certificate and completion certificate. if your builder is not provide the copy of completion certificate then first of all you should send a legal notice to the builder and then file a petition against the builder before concerned consumer Forum or in permanent lok adalat or in RERA court for compensation for delay in possession. if you want any further information or any other advice then contact me without any hesitation through administrator of this website

The building completion certificate may not be required when registering a property, but it is still important. A building competition certificate is required by law to legalise the property.
