My mother has a residential flat (approx cost 1 crore) in Borivali West, Mumbai, Maharashtra. My mother wants to gift it to me through a gift deed. I need your help to understand how much the total cost will incur to make a gift deed including stamp duty, registration fee, and the lawyer's fee. nAlso, who will be the witnesses while executing the registration?
Gift deed lawyers fees along with registration will cost you around 15000 and stamp duty and registration charges would be approximately 2% of flat value with 2000 for registration.
