Father purchased property in name of son

My father purchased a 18 acre agriculture land from his own earnings in the name of his 2nd son in 1990. We are 2 brothers and 4 sisters. All of us were married before 1990 and living separately. We had no ancestral or joint family property. 2nd son age was 27 at the time of purchasing the property he was also married and working. My father told orally that said property is for all 6 children and to share it equally. Father died in 2014. Now my brother is denying to give share. Can we claim?

yes you can claim and it has to show joint family income property than you can claim along with other children and must and should you have prove the property purchased by father in your brother name any further information cal

You can claim this to be acquired by your father from his earnings and only for convenient suicide it was registered in your brother's name,but you will have to do some hard homework to prepare for this case:
