Query about applicability of Pagdi system law

Hello, I would like to learn more about the pagdi system law. More in lines with below pointers - i. Can a tenant move to a new rented/ownership house without selling the existing pagdi house? ii. If a tenant wishes to sell the pagdi property how much % of the amount goes to the landlord as per the law? iii. What are the other landlord / tenant rights in a pagdi system?
This is my response to you:
1. Pagdi system is bound by the Maharashtra Rent Control Act;
2. Pagdi system is not officially accepted by the law, since it is not legal to let out house in that fashion;
3. Consult a local lawyer and show him/her your documents;
4. But the landlord has supreme authority over the same and the tenants rights are also equally protected.
