Legally you are a tenant now and you have paid Rs.50000 as advance. The tenancy agreement can be in written or oral. The unregistered written agreement will be valid upto 11 months and the oral agreement valid month to month and it can be renewed as per the terms and conditions of both the parties. Your case is concern, you were deposited the advance amount through transfer and paying the rental amount through transfer via bank a/c, so legally you are a tenant and you cannot be evicted without following the due process of law. In cases , if there is any thread of unlawful eviction then you can approach the Court. But you cannot insist the landlord to provide a rental agreement.
