Question against liquidated damage

29-Jan-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I had to join in a company because they demanded >2.5 lakh which was metioned in an appointment letter if i am not able to join as a liquidated damage. After joining, i left the company due to my personal reason within probation period & I had to pay >5 lakh as a liquidated damage as per agreed stamp paper. In service condition it was written that I have to do service 5 yrs. Now my question is that 1. Can employer demand >2.5 lakh if i am not able to join? 2. Can employer demand >5lakh if i cannot continue service ? 3. Where can i apply to get back the money which I paid to the company? It was written any legal proceedings of any nature shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in chandrapur district (Maharashtra) because I had worked in Gadchandur (Maharashtra).Right now I am staying in Mangalore (Karnataka).
