Police verification pending, company holding appointment letter

sir/madam, i have been selected for the post of technical officer but suppressed the information regarding arrest and acquittal from criminal case long back. But now in police verification it is releaved the information and now dept. is not issuing the order of appointment. Is there any chances of wining the case as iam holding 3rd place according to the merit list.
With reference to your above statement, the company can not hold appointments, unless knowing the seriousness of crime, you have to clear your crime and the pending time of your case, which is going to be helpful
