Less salary paid than the minimum wage act where to complain

i am working in a car dealer company and my salary is under 6000 inr. So how can i inform it to labour commision about this matter,when the payscale of a worker in private sector is need to 10000rs minimum as per indian acts. Where to report it?

Hi, what is your jurisdiction or police station? First of all you should check out whether any agreement or contract was made by you with the company or not. intimate/convey the same to your employer by forowarding a notice to the Management / employer of the company about the increment of salary as per the any contract made. Then the Management not respond within reasonable time to be given as per the time mentioned in the said notice (30 days) then the next level, by giving complaint with proof to the Labour Officer within your jurisdiction.

If you are working with an industry for which minimum wages notified by the appropriate Government , your claim for minimum wages is legally tenable. Please check the same from the concerned website.If the appropriate Government is Government of West Bengal, visit Directorate of Minimum Wages Government of West Bengal- 6, Church lane, Kolkata 700001, Near High Court, Calcutta.
