Legal remedy for not serving notice period due to health issues

Hi there, i was working in a private company where worked 1.2 years(2015-2016) and left my job with clean hands, handing over all the assets and i didn't served my notice period because of health issue and provided certificate for not travelling which was my primary key, they kept quite until now, they want me to pay 32000 for not serving notice period. what to do i don't know. They said you have 10 days otherwise face the court.
