Legal action against boss threatening to file false charges

My boss threatened me that he will impose false charges on me and will file a case against me. Is this a crime? What can i do. I am mentally upset regarding this.is this not harassment?
Its just verbal and heated arguments unless and until you have given in writing or show cause notice. There must be some facts and circumstances happened. Prima facie, your boss will not file the case but be careful. You may discuss over phone so that I got clarity on this.

What you are suggesting is a crime but you need to have proof to prove the same. Start recording all the communications which you have with your boss either on phone or otherwise and then you can lodge a complaint before the disciplinary committee of your own organization. If you are not comfortable with this idea then you can file a complaint before the local police station of your office and then police will take care of the rest.
