Is it mandatory to serve 90 days notice period

Hi, I have resigned from my company as I have a good offer from other company I have told this to my manager and now they want me to serve full 90 days notice but in my offer letter there is clause of buy out but at sole discretion of company I have served 30 days notice and don't want to serve full notice is there any legal recourse I can take to get rid of notice period

In order to advise you about your situation it is required to go through your company's policy of employment.

Your employment letter should have all those clauses. If the policy specifies something on those terms that you are imposed on right now by the company you have to abide by them, but if not, you can send them a legal letter through an advocate, for imposing arbitrary and random rules on you.
