Grounds for termination of employee worked for more than 13 years

Sir is it possible to terminate a employee on bases of one year performance while have been performed consecutively for 12 years and reached from junior executive to Area Sales manager in the same organization. Company had paid only 3 month salary and Gratuity . Company is MNC in India

Depends upon the terms of appointment or contract , how ever nobody does that because it tarnishes the image of the firm. Specific answer can be given if details are provided. They seem to have terminated the contract against some specific provision by providing 3 months salary.

Brother, Private companies can exceed to terminate their employee based on the contract or service agreement entailing any other reason. One can be terminated even if he performed well but the legal remedies is limited to the labours of any company
