Ex-employer denied bonus, wanted to file the case

21-Sep-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Ex-employer denied me bonus for 2016-17, saying that I resigned before the end of the financial year, though I was with the company till April 17. This bonus is mentioned in my CTC as performance bonus. I want to know if I have a case against this ex-employer in Bangalore. And If I file a case, do I have to be in Bangalore till it's resolved?

You have to complete 5 years in an organisation to claim bonus , you have not mentioned how many years you have worked in the organisation which denied your bonus, hence same cannot be answered as your question is incomplete. Meanwhile if you file a case against your employer you have to be in Bangalore to appear in the important stage where it requires your presence and have to keep in contact with your advocate. Consult any advocate.
