What to do if my sister is tortured and forced to get dowry by husband

Sir my sister has been tortured by her in laws .husband denied to share his life As he is in relation with his bhabhi. Two times they burn her hand. Continuously mentally harrassed What step we have to take as we have no proof to prove our words.

Hi, her hand being burnt two times is enough to make your case. Just make sure you have the medical reports with you. The law always favor the women in domestic violence case so you don't have to be scared of anything or anyone. The law also allows the family members of the wife to file a complaint on her behalf for domestic violence. So you can go ahead and file a domestic violence case against your sister's husband under section 498 A of IPC.

My advice would be since your sister's husband is already in a relationship with another woman, you can file for divorce on such grounds. There is no point in letting your sister go through all the harassment like that. File for domestic violence and then for divorce. Hire a good lawyer and he will guide you for both. u have to file a comlaint about this in police station of cruelty beside this u can file a complaint of domestic voilence u/s 12 of d.v.act there is no रिक्वाइर्मेंट of specific documentry evidence.and also u can demand maintenance u/s 125cr.pc

There is no need of very strong proof. You along with your sister file the fir in the concerned police station. File case of domestic violence act. File a case of 406 IPC and a case of her maintenance

File complaint against husband and in laws under section 498 A ,323.504,506 Ipc, and 3/4 D.P act. And file a case of Domestic violence also . And you also said that they burn her hand. In case of mentally harassment no need to prove.

do file a file an FIR against the family members detailing with the full grievances what your sister is facing from his family members under domestic violence and dowry act after then you can proceed further.
