What is the share of my son in husbands property

My husband has 2 sons from his previous marriage and I have one son from my previous marriage. We are married for 5 years now..even after telling so many times, my husband denied to adopt my son. Will my son get equal rights in his property like his biological children? Or adoption is compulsory to have equal rights?
No adoption is required if your husband's first wife is alive and his marriage is in existence with he and if you are hindu by faith then your son will get the illegitimate son status and as per the law he is having right in his father's property which cannot be denied.
