File a written complaint against your sister-in-law in the Police Station where you stay. You can also file a FIR regarding the same. The police officials are duty bound to register your complaint as this is a cognizable offence.

Hi, You need to file a proper written police complaint against your sister-in-law this a clear cut matter of theft beside other charges . If the investigating officer does not register a FIR , you should approach ACP , DCP office and file the complaint there and still if they don’t register the FIR , file 156(3) Crpc application read with 200 Crpc in the concern court.
