My deceased father and his first wife were not had childrens for long time. After with will and support of her he remarried. Me and my elder brother were born from my father's second wife.nBut, in all our school records first wife name is mentioned as the mother. nWe are living together and happily.nNow we applied for legal heir certificate and it is rejected by the deputy tahsildar.nWhat to do now?

if the application is rejected you can directly file a suit in civil court for declaring you and your brother as legal heirs of your father, you have to produce the relevant documents to show that you are legal heirs, like your birth certificate, etc, after verification the court will grant relief. collect all documents and file a suit which will be easy and simple method.

Dear Sir, The records speaks that you are the children of first wife as such legal heir certificate is to be issued in your name and it was mistakenly rejected by the Tahasildar. Better approach Higher Authority or directly approach Hon'ble High Court and get a direction to the Tahasildar accordingly.
