Husband is asking for divorce forcefully

Hello, myself Meenakshi Bhardwaj .I m married since 7 years my husband got involved with extra marital affair and forcing me for divorce .I m living with in-laws .he had left home 1.5 year ago.what best decision I can take in dis .plz guide me .

Query perused. I will advise you not to now down to his pressure. Being a legally wedded wife you many legal remedies and rights to avail. Would advise you initiate legal action against him by filing an intallh peshbandi with the concerned authorities. In addition to that you can file a complaint before the CAW cell followed by a complaint with the magistrate under the domestic violence act seeking maintenance, protective order, separate residence order and compensation. Hi, Your husband cannot force you for divorce and it's up to you whether you wish to continue the relation or interested in coming out of it and starting a new life . If you think there's scope left for reunion then you may continue, but if you can't see any solution then it's better to come out of the relationship. Thanks Ramit Sehrawat Advocates
