How much time can be granted from alienating shared household

02-Sep-2023 (In Family Law)
Owing to some family issues my father is threatening us to sell our only Residential House. So my mother wants to file suit under section 19 of the Domestic Violence Act. My question is for how much period stay can be granted from alienating shared household in an Interim Order.

The court may be stayed the case property at the first instance, if proper documentation of property ownership attached along with suit. Otherwise court will ordered for service to opposite party to present and after reply of the opposite party go for order, what it think suitable. Your mother can also go for civil suit for stay if she has interest or partly owner or payment made by your mother or you. Even you yourself or any other person have paying rent to your father, then you or that other person can also file rent petition
