Court Marriage under Hindu Marriage Act

13-Apr-2024 (In Family Law)
I want to ask can a buddhist and a Hindu (OBC) get married under Hindu Marriage Act? Is it possible? Do we have to face any problem because of this act? Is it legal? And as we know elections are coming May I know because of election procedure do the municipalities send notice to bride and groom's home in case to inform they are married or change of name after being married??

The Hindu Marriage Act 1955 is applicable to Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Sikhs. Anyone of these religions may marry any other person of these religions under the Hindu Marriage Act. The marriage is valid under HMA Law.
