Deal against Harrasment by boss who was my ex bf

I was in a relation with my boss for a year and things didn't work out so we decided to end this relation. We both were married. He knew my situation. I had spot resigned from my previous organization and didn't had any relieving experiences. When he approached me i kind of didn't had a choice of not saying no. Things were ok at the start but later he started getting really toxic so i ended things. The problem is now he is trying everything in power to harras me mentally and emotionally.

Well, if he is torturing you and compelling you to keep relationship with him, then, you be clear with him, that, he cannot force himself upon you, if he tries to do that next time, you will lodge a Police Complaint against him and get it converted into a FIR legally for trying to force himself upon you for sex.

I want to understand if i can send him a legal notice as a warning before i lodge an official complaint.
