Magistrate Sent The Case For Mediation
24-Sep-2023 (In Domestic Violence Law)
After getting notice in DV case, I appeared on the given date. Magistrate asked me about the reply. I had not prepared my reply. I requested him to send the case for mediation. My question is whether I need to file reply on the next date(date of mediation) or will it do if I submit it after mediation? I am Hindu by religion.
you have to file reply otherwise you case will proceed without reply which will be against you.

You have to file a reply after mediation when and if the matter is agin reverted back to the court. And the reply on that particular day only.

if it was a fruitful talk or nor.
You must have come to know if you could amicably resolve the issue or not.
if yes then you need not file a reply.
but if the mediation report is not positive you will have to file your say. contact lawyer for that.
