Surety Asking On Process To Remove Name for Ration card

We have applied for surety for Bail against 498A in June 2025, but now the surety is asking to remove his name from Surety as he is not able to process for his new ration card due to remarks on the page. So how to process further and do we need to add no surety or it can be managed on 2 surety as the case is old and will follow on long run

A surety can apply to be discharged from the bail bond by moving an application before the trial court. If the court permits, you will generally be directed to furnish a fresh surety within the time granted. The surety can seek to be discharged by filing an application before the same court that accepted the bail bond. The accused should simultaneously file an application seeking substitution of surety and furnish a fresh surety in place of the existing one. Until the court accepts the discharge and approves the new surety, the existing surety continues to remain liable under the bail bond.

you can submit your surety aadhar card, pan card, passport, house tax receipt, agriculture 7/12 or any other documents instead of ration card... if surety do not want to continue his surety in your case than you can apply before court for fresh/ another surety, court can permit you...

Surety used ration card on father name as name was present in it and court marked on it so does removing surety makes the surety person to process for New Ration Card application easy
