Procedure to correct name on property documents

my father name was printed wrong on his property paper. How to correct the name on land property paper and how much it will cost.Hindu religion.
Rectification deed can be executed to get the name corrected and the same can be got registered if the mistake was bonafide and it came to your knowledge know. Proper document containing correct name shall be there as proof alongwith giving of affidavit and for making it more effective the advertisement can even be given in the newspaper for such name change.
