Legal validity of marriage filed on a stamp paper not notarized

I am a foreigner, got marriage paper on a stamp paper, i am not sure if it is even registered properly as it has not been notarized anywhere. is there a place i could inquire if this paper is even valid. since i want divorce, i think i might not even need it (i also suspect the guy didnt have previous divorce final signing done either), both christians. and he has been harassing me and playing around with those papers with me? can i do something against his harassments or find out if those papers are even valid??
