How to get succession deed certificate

Hindu religion My father passed away in 2013 and he had built a house in Karnataka it's in his name. He had taken housing loan which got cleared after his death in 2013. However when we asked for our house papers(sale deed) the bank person told to get succession deed failing which we won't get the papers. I, my mother and younger sister stay in Goa and I asked a lawyer for deed of succession he said it can't be done here as parents marriage certificate and our birth certificates are of Karnataka.But Karnataka lawyer is saying it can't be done in Ktaka as we are residents of Goa.what to do

Where your father died. Just file an affidavit mentioning the names of heirs along with death certificate to the concerned the Revenue inspector, who will issue the certificate regarding legal heirs, after that you will have to file an application along with the certificate issue by RI , affidavit along with death certificate. Tahasildar will issue legal heir certificate.

since the property is situated at Bengaluru, and you are from Karnataka originally, by furnishing the Bengaluru address you can obtain a succession certificate.

You must be making an application under section 214 of Indian succession act before the district court where the property is situated. You must be applying to the district court in karnataka where the property is situated.
