Please provide complete facts..

Is your grandfather alive?

If yes, he would decide partition of the property.

If your grandfather is alive and if he does not have any objection, the same can be transferred without informing uncle. He is free to deal with the property as he likes.

As the property was purchased in the name of your Grand father, it is his asset to dispose. Assuming this is being transferred after his demise and he died without leaving a will then all legal heirs of the grandfather must consent to sale or transfer of the property or alienation of the property. If the Grandfather has left a will then the property must be dealt in accordance to the provisions of the Will.

if your father is executant of the said land he can do so without telling any of your uncles and if he is not and made them witnesses then their consent is must for the transfer hence you need to get checked your document at registration point they will guid you the right step.

You have not given much details about the transaction but anyway keeping in mind that your father bought property in the name of your grandfather so in that case your grandfather becomes the owner. Now if your grandfather agree to transfer the property in your mother's name than that can be done as your uncle's consents is not required as there would be proof of payment done by your father when he bought the same property in your grandfather's name.
